How GoBolt went from zero to 27% AI visibility in three months

GoBolt is a third-party logistics provider running warehousing, fulfilment and last-mile delivery for ecommerce brands in North America. When ContentMonk started tracking the questions its buyers ask AI assistants, GoBolt was named in none of the answers. Three months later it appears in 27% of them, and the site ranks for more than 900 keywords.

We went from not being mentioned at all in AI answers to showing up in about a quarter of them within three months, and our search rankings grew alongside it.

01

The problem

GoBolt was invisible in the place its buyers were starting. Someone comparing 3PL providers now opens ChatGPT or Perplexity before they open a browser tab, and the answer they get back names four or five companies. GoBolt was not one of them.

Tracked across the questions its buyers actually ask, visibility sat at zero. Not low. Zero.

The harder problem was that nobody could see it. Rankings and traffic were measurable. Whether an assistant recommended GoBolt when an ecommerce operations lead asked which 3PL to use for North American fulfilment was not, so the gap had gone unmeasured for as long as it had existed.

The answers being returned were pulling from a small set of sources: directory listings, a few comparison posts, and the competitors' own sites. Those sources were doing the recommending, and GoBolt had no presence in any of them.

02

The work

The prompts GoBolt's buyers use were tracked and re-run every day across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, so it was clear which companies got named and which pages those answers were pulling from.

That ran next to Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword rankings and competitor rankings in one place, which turned the question from "why are we not showing up" into a list of specific pages that needed to exist or needed work.

The list was ordered by what an answer engine can actually use. A page that states a fact plainly, with the specifics an assistant needs to quote, gets cited. A page that circles a topic without committing to anything does not. Each brief was written against the question it was meant to answer, then checked for whether it also earned the ranking.

Those gaps became briefs, the briefs became articles, and the articles went straight to the site. The next day's prompt run showed what moved, which turned the programme into a loop.

03

The results

Three months in, GoBolt is named in 27% of the tracked answers, up from none at the start.

On the search side the site now ranks for more than 900 keywords. That is the same content doing both jobs: earning the click on Google and giving the answer engines something to cite.

The two tend to move together. A page that ranks well is a page assistants are more likely to have read, and a page written to be quotable is usually the clearer page for a human too.

The daily tracking is what makes the figure defensible. Visibility is measured against a fixed set of buyer questions re-run on a schedule, so a change in the number reflects a change in the answers instead of a change in what was being counted.
